Life isn’t about the opportunities that are handed to us, it is about creating the opportunities we want. When we wait for the perfect opportunity to come our way, we are choosing to let circumstances limit our potential. Some of the happiest and most successful people in the world weren’t given opportunities, but instead, created their own.If you want to do something with your life, find ways to make it happen. Don’t rely on some universal luck or fate. Empower yourself and create your own destiny!

    I agree with you, but for some of us it comes down to knowing when an opportunity is being offered to us that melds well with the core values we know are in us. This process opens doors for synergy with others on the pathway to a type of symmetry that cannot be discovered alone. It’s like creating exponents instead of addition signs. Nonetheless, this point may find favor for the audience that already understands it. Your message definitely has value for another audience. Good work. Good words.

    This is so true. I hit rock for seven years i worked, waited, prayed and hoped that my dream job would land in my lap. Two years ago while i was in a deep depression a friend of mine suggested that i start a blog. I also started writing what is now a published memoir, ” The Waiting Game” on amazon, I now have two blogs, I entered three stories in short story contest and I’ve just completed my first 40.000 word short story and book number two is almost finished. This happened in just two years, not waiting for the dream job, I’m going to continue to teach and write.

    You do make your own opportunities in life but you also do need once a while to see when an opportunity is the right one for you to take full advantage of whether it is a relationship, a career path or anything else.
