Mindfulness..I’ve been thinking about this lately because for some reason, it’s becoming necessary. When I think back I never remember mindfulness even being something to consider. I was always mindful I guess you could say. Perhaps taking a more spiritual path in life has caused me to focus on other things besides myself and become more aware of the needs of others. A video I just saw was talking about social media and how we are becoming less mindful because of it. Now it is important to disconnect and bring our focus and awareness back to ourselves so that we can get more accomplished and become more self aware again. Good article. 😀👍

    1. I couldn’t agree with you more. If greater well-being isn’t enough of an incentive, scientists have discovered that mindfulness techniques help improve physical health in a number of ways. Mindfulness can: help relieve stress, treat heart disease, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, , improve sleep, and alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties.

    1. Thank you Maggie. Glad you liked it. Make a clear decision at the start of your workday to be present as best you can. Pause for a few moments before you start your work day to set this intention in your mind.

  7. Reblogged this on Spice and Sauce and commented:
Sage advice! I remember the first time I was advised not to believe my thoughts. I nearly fell out of my chair! Surely my thoughts were the utterances of my soul? Weren’t they my very essence?

    Nah. Rubbish and lies.

  8. Those are great things to do. It is easy to lose sight of how one’s own awareness state causes more tangible physical effects to become manifest. Not just in your own vehicle (Body), but the environments one is in or passing through. Your vehicle generates energies, emotions generate energies and awareness in general generates energies continually. This entanglement between one’s own awareness and vehicle can be more symbiotic and more healthy

      1. Yes, it is a helpful method. A method that allows one to attain greater potential in known and yet unknown areas. There are many methods one can use, whatever one of those they use, they are breaking their self away from older more rigid ways into potentials and growth which were previously out of reach.
