Each day you can journey from your Alpha (it begins with you) to your Omega, which in the teachings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, is the point within each of us where our inner spiritual nature meets our outer worldly nature.

It is with this thought I bring to you daily dose of affirmations for your mind and soul. An affirmation a day, keeps the therapist away!!! Here are your affirmation for today :

  • Everything will work out for me.
  • I am a winner.
  • The tools I need to succeed are in my possession.
  • There is nobody better to get the job done than me.
  • I have faith in my social skills.
  • Other people will not take advantage of me.
  • I have confidence in my skills.
  • I am not afraid to be wrong.
  • Happiness is within my grasp.
  • I am confident in the presence of others.

Have a confident and vibrant day ahead.

  1. Disappointment is a natural feeling and often is the emotion that helps to drive our resilience and determination. But often times making the wrong decision is associated with embarrassment and lack of self-wroth.

Overcoming the fear of being wrong is so important and how we go about changing that present mindset.

    1. Fear is becoming rampant on the planet. We can see it every day in the news. Fear is a lack of trust in ourselves, and because of this, we don’t trust Life. We don’t trust that we’re being taken care of on a higher level, so we feel we must control everything from the physical level. Obviously, we’re going to feel fear because we can’t control everything in our lives.
Trust is what we learn when we want to overcome our fears. It’s called “taking a leap of faith” and trusting in the Power within that’s connected to Universal Intelligence. Remember, the Power that supplies our breath is the same Power that created the Universe. You’re one with all of Life. The more you know how to love yourself and trust Life, the more that Life will love you, support you, and guide you. You can trust in that which is invisible, instead of trusting only in the physical, material world. I’m not saying that we do nothing, yet if we have trust, we can go through life much easier. We need to trust that we’re being taken care of, even though we’re not physically in control of everything that’s happening around us.

      1. My higher power is in my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word tells me in Hebrews 11:6, And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

I agree fear has become rampant but I know as long as I keep my trust in God I will be alright.

  2. It’s good to have a confident and vibrant day.
    The Greeks said: “Know thyself”.
and finding out purpose is a good thing. Or, is it?

Then I heard this video from the late Alan Watts, and I have to admit, he makes a good case for no purpose. Not that we should be lazy drifters, but more not worrying about duty or obligation and enjoying the freedom to choose and things-in-themselves. Does Music you like have a Goal? NO. It is good all by itself. And so are many other things.

But this goes against todays have-it-all, make-a-difference, life-coaching, success-oriented teaching and books we are almost constantly exposed to today. So….I’m curious what people would think of this. Have a listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21RwqnB8GrE&feature=youtu.be –theOwl30

    1. Your life purpose consists of the central motivating aims of your life—the reasons you get up in the morning. Purpose can guide life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction, and create meaning. For some people, purpose is connected to vocation—meaningful, satisfying work.

  4. Positive thinking for kick start the day!! I agree that more then not people lack faith and that is a key root to the every growing problem we face…animosity! I don’t think it’s something that can be erradicated but it’s on the rise and that is an issue. As a result it stifles confidence and our ability to grow organically.
    Have a nice weekend.

    1. When asked; “What is faith?” a religious person may immediately point out certain articles of faith:

      “God exists.”
      “There is an eternal afterlife.”
“God forgives us for our sins.”
      “God wrote a book.”

Such statements (articles) will certainly narrate an individual’s faith in terms of what it consists in. While this may tell us what that individual has faith in, it does not answer the question as to what faith is. To approach the later question we may compare faith to other states of being such as belief and knowledge.

Some people treat faith as if it were one among many different types of belief. To “believe” something in this sense is to accept it as true. One’s belief that a particular political candidate is the best for the job, and one’s belief that the next winter will be severe, and one’s belief that there is life on other planets in the universe, and one’s belief that God created the heavens and the earth, are thus all on the same conceptual level. The only differences among these is the content, that is the statement accepted as true.

      1. Faith in another person is a good start, if we believe God resides in all…

      2. What is Faith? Hmmmm. How about this?: FAITH is: “a confidence and trust in someone or something based on a positive track record.”
I think that’s as good as any of a definition (so far) and yet it seems to imply that who or what we place faith in needs to act first . Is that always the case? Is faith based on previous performance? Is it Faith if it isn’t or is it something else?

      3. I do not base my faith on positive track record. I guess I don’t have a filter in my head for that..haha..which is a pro and a con but ummm faith is belief without proof. It’s like when you know you know 🙂
