If you want to be happier, it’s all about taking control of what you do each day. Choose to ditch these following joy sucking and soul searing habits. Some of them may surprise you.

  • Lack of Self love – Hating on yourself is like drinking poison. It slowly kills your mind, body and soul.
  • Complaining – When it comes to complaining, always remember, where your attention goes, energy flows. And where energy flows, something grows.
  • Blaming – Blaming gives your power away, by making that which exists outside of yourself responsible for your happiness.
  • Needing to Look Good – Do not change yourself for anyone or anything. Do not be concerned about what other think of you, their thoughts and opinions will never validate or define you.
  • Poor Physical Habits – Ignoring what is good for your body will result in your body dying more quickly than necessary. Harsh but true!
  • Being a Slave to Your Fears – Living within your comfort zone where you do not meet your fears is not living. It is staying safe.

    1. You can’t change your fate, but your free will can postpone it. It’s how fate works. You are control of your life; it is not in control of you. Fate is what will come to you in life, and free will is what you choose to do with it

  3. This was really helpful. But I also believe that sometimes it’s good to not be in control. To just let go of stuff and go with the flow. Controlling everything will just leave no space foe life to suprise us .

    1. Put simply, compassion is a concern for the welfare and well-being of others. Compassion does not necessarily require a focused love to exist but is often thought of as a form of love in and of itself: a love for humankind as a whole.

    1. There will never come a time when we are complete and finished human beings because the state of being complete and finished is the antithesis of what being human is all about. Our lives are one massive, gigantic, and sometimes overwhelming work in progress.

      Because the lives we are living are not finite. They are not written in stone. They are not stagnant. They are not about breaking through a certain threshold.
