Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. Self Love Practice Tip #7
Do you allow negative self talk in your life? If you are swimming is self love, the answer would be no. That means that you are careful about speaking to yourself and never call yourself things like “Oh, I am so stupid” or “I am so dumb” or my favourite, “Why didn’t I think of that earlier??!!”. A lot of us do that without even realising it. We just kind of just kind of hard of ourselves. We say things to ourselves which we wouldn’t say to anyone else. When you walk in self love, this kind of dialogue does not happen because you are very forgiving of yourself so if you make a mistake, or you forget something, or you gain a couple of pounds (gulp!), you are not having that negative harsh self talk. You tells yourself its okay to gain a few pounds, its okay if you trusted the wrong person, now you can correct that because you know better. When your inner talking is not self loathing or self deprecating, you know you are swimming in self love.
