Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!
Self Love Practice Tip #104
In today’s post how to stop comparing yourself to others. I know I have written extensively on it before. But I got so many comments on it that I want to add on some more tips for everyone. I know a lot of people struggle from it and I do too everyday, and that’s why I wrote about it in the first place. It is very important that after you learn a topic, you just keep building on it and that is how you continue to grow and grow and you build a foundation and that is exactly how you get to what you want to achieve in life with the confidence you have build up. You just don’t hear about something or learn about something and that’s it, the goal should be to learn more and more you can and build on what you have learned. Just like, if you are going to the gym, going to the gym once does not help you achieve your health goals, it is the consistency which matters. If you are ready to begin your journey towards more self love and self awareness then I am glad you are reading this post. Social media is so embedded in our lives now that it is very easy to compare ourselves to others, where you feel guilty that you are not doing as much as others. We have all done it and some of us may not be even aware how much we compare ourselves passively. How you can tell her with phrases like “She is so much better than me.”, “She is so much thinner than me.”, “They are more successful than me”, “Why can’t I have what they have?”, These statement are tropical comparison statements that we use everyday. But the good news is that we can overcome these.
Come back tomorrow for more inspiration.
