Ok, so before you get your knickers in a twist by the baffling tagline, please stay with me because the word UNATTRACTIVE has nothing to do with looks or appearances.

Everyone wants to be a likeable person. Even the most introvert of people who like to quietly watch the crowd from a dark corner and be amused or jealous want to be known as  “not a bad person”. But then sometimes, even without knowing, we tend to do things that make us unattractive as a person so much so that people won’t even want to be near us. So lets look at such unattractive characteristics:

    I like the way you present these points. I learned them “upside down” as three things people do to “win”: 1. Be right, 2. Look good, 3. Be in control.

    When someone is being rude, negative, or critical, it interesting to see whether they are trying to 1, 2, 3, or some combination.

    Other ways of interacting can be tactful methods to achieve the same ends while avoiding being “unattractive.” Examples are: “Another way to look at this is ….;” “My mother told me ….;” “I’ve had trouble with that approach …;” and other methods that subtly let others know what you think is best.

    It took a few years to develop my number 4. Be generous.

    This also describes a toxic person, just for the record. 😉 The shock title was a it much but I’m glad the little intro was a bit soothing as well as slightly comedic. Good idea on the approach.
