Am sorry..but you are UNATTRACTIVE..!!

Ok, so before you get your knickers in a twist by the baffling tagline, please stay with me because the word UNATTRACTIVE has nothing to do with looks or appearances.

Still there?

Great! Thank you.

Everyone wants to be a likeable person. Even the most introvert of people who like to quietly watch the crowd from a dark corner and be amused or jealous want to be known as  “not a bad person”. But then sometimes, even without knowing, we tend to do things that make us unattractive as a person so much so that people won’t even want to be near us. So lets look at such unattractive characteristics:

  1. You are Rude – Plain & simple. Now you might be working hard to save the world which is giving you unwanted anxiety and keeping you at edge or you might be frustrated with your life (Yea life is sad sometimes for everyone, you’re no exception) that you want to snap at everyone and anyone, but my friend that is making you unattractive. People can’t see what you can see, all they see is that you are impolite, offensive and other synonyms for impolite and offensive.
  2. You are always Negative – Please note, there is a thin line between positive criticism and pessimism. Criticism can only come from someone who has been in your position or has experience in the area. I mean to put it plainly it should look like an invaluable feedback and not as downright rejection. Criticism is advice, pessimism is hitting the self esteem which my dear is not appreciated by anyone.
  3. You are never Wrong – Ahh..the ego boost that this sentence gives you..I know that feeling..Guilty.  But the reality is that you are nothing but delusional. You can be wrong sometimes and the wiser alternative would be to either accept it or be quiet and not defend it, because if you do it would lead to more drama which will make you more Unattractive. It’s ok not to have the last say in an argument. Think about it and see yourself.
  4. You are Controlling – My favourite one. Subtle controlling is like a personal brand of heroin for Unattractive people. They usually take the passive aggressive route where people will be angry with you but they won’t be able to express it, which leaves you to do whatever you want. These people kill your self confidence, make you question your values, demoralise and so on and so forth. (I am already feeling unhealthy thinking such thoughts…tsk)

I am sure you all must have related this post to a particular person or maybe thinking about the times when you have behaved in some way or the other to express your Unattractiveness to others. My request to you is please stop strangulating others if you are an unattractive person as at the end of the time, you will be only man LITERALLY ALONE…!!!!!!!

    • Hello,

Being honest with people is tough to always do. I hope that you find it easier through writing. Seeing the things we all do inside that are unattractive, reminds us that there is always room for improvement.
      Thank you,

      • Hi, thank you for liking this posts so much. I am glad you agree with the unattractive part within us and around us. Acceptance is the first step to improvement. We are all work in progress after all.
        Thanks again
        Best to you

      • I still working on it but? I’m also working on my super book that will rock the waves of the Net pretty soon…lol wishful thinking but? How is about giving me your thoughts on this title, JUMP! OVERCOME IT ALL!

The book is actually a narrative of my life and how I overcame all the mental health labels that were saddled on me a good part of my life. The overcoming? Not by my power but? By the power of love from on high! It’s a different but sure approach to the huge load the satanic world have managed to impose in so many dear souls. That’s why I sense this book will make a mark. New post later on today.

Tamara Kulish like my post in your blog but it looks like she deleted her blog. Maybe she’ll read this comment and like it as well, who knows?
Anyhow? I sure liked your About! Good goods in there. ๐Ÿ™‚ Later!

  2. Wow, I really liked this post. It has let me pat my shoulder because my ‘unattractiveness’ could also be analysed in this way.

And, thank you for liking my post: Holi, Holiness and more. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Can’t remember if I commented on this, or not, but this piece hollered right at me. Am still reeling from the shock. Enough to make a person go mute for at least a week, just to see who shows up at all. You are on it.

This post gives me a lot to reflect on. No one sees your story, unless you tell it. People are not going to look art you and automatically know your struggling, and you shouldn’t expect them to. When your hurting inside with your own internal struggles, it’s always important to choose between understanding that you must still carry patience, or be that ugly person inside that makes everything about them.

  5. I’m reading the piece and saying to myself that this is simply pure absolute truth being poured out from its source, the inner one. It also reads well and does not go over the edges, it’s not superfluous.

    • Thanks Tamara; here are two souls looking at the same object and seeing the same thing. Two views but one vision. Truth is like a vast network, it connects all of the people who are within its radius and within whom it flows.

  6. Now I see why you liked my recent posts. You’re on the same track I am. Some people just aren’t aware that they have personality issues/disorders. One of my favorite subjects is Psychology. Sounds like you are referring to a Sociopath?

  7. Great article!! You’ve nailed it!

Ugliness inside a person poisons too many relationships! I believe that by dealing with these issues we can help turn negative and toxic relationships to more positive!

Takes courage to do the work!

    • Well said. We don’t realise how we are behaving with others till someone is kind enough to point out. Most of the time we are defensive about feedback too. Thanks for stopping by and liking my post.
      Best to you

  8. I love this! It is SO true! Thank you for this post. We all forget from time to time. We never see ourselves in this light, but the truth is, I will speak only for myself, I have been rude, negative…everything you have posted here. I don’t intend to be that way. But we all forget. This is a helpful article.

  9. *guilty party speaks* Being negative comes natural to me. But when it go to the point when others has criticized me for being negative I knew it was time to make a change. Being negative doesn’t change anything, the more negative I am the worse I feel, which just starts an ugly cycle. To combat my negative attitude I am learning to give God praise in the midst of my situation (Psalm 149:6, Psalm 34, 1 Thessalonians 5:18).
