If I have learned anything this year,
It’s that being “ready” is just a mere veneer.
Life’s surprises, they keep coming my way,
But I’ve discovered, I don’t need to sway.
For the unknown, I’ll never be equipped,
But that’s where life’s adventure is beautifully scripted.
If I had all the answers, where would be the glee?
It’s the mystery that brings joy to you and me.
Mistakes, oh mistakes, they’re not a disgrace,
They’re stepping stones to victory, a necessary chase.
Without them, there’d be no pride in my soul,
No sense of accomplishment, making me whole.
Sadness and sorrow, they visit our hearts,
But they make room for happiness, in all its glorious parts.
Without the lows, how could we appreciate the highs?
They give depth to our emotions, like painted skies.
So, my friend, don’t fret if you lack a plan,
There’s beauty in the mystery, like grains of sand.
Embrace the unseen, let it be your guide,
For in the dance of life, there’s nothing to hide.
Let’s sway to the rhythm of the unknown,
As life’s surprises are beautifully thrown.
