Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!

Self Love Practice Tip #5

Another way of swimming in self love is living in a state of gratitude, it is kind of an orthodox one but promise it will make sense as we tie it together. Living in gratitude means that you are grateful for your abilities, you are grateful for things you have, even grateful for the way you look even though you might want things that you want to change and older but at the core of it all, you are grateful for yourself. When you don’t love yourself, you reach for things that other have and you don’t. You think it will make you feel better, it is going to fill that void that you have, but you need to fill that void with self love and self love only. Not with people, not with material possessions, not with egoist thoughts, just self love. It is impossible to love oneself if you are feeling ungrateful. Love what you have, love what’s around you. If you do, that is really a reflection of self love. If you view yourself in self love, you will automatically be grateful for things around you.

Trust me. Think about it. Try it and you will really see that being grateful is a reflection of self love.

Hope this helps. Come back same time for more self love tips tomorrow.

  1. I agree. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in life is to be grateful for who I am, where I am, and the people I am withat the time.

    1. Gratitude can help us see that not everything is terrible—not all the time, anyway. Practicing gratitude can keep our hearts open to the tenderness in our daily experiences. There are so many things to be grateful for.

  2. The most difficult tip to maintain on a regular basis but the most effective one. We tend to forget being grateful with all the chaos around us, but only being grateful will bring us out of that chaos. Thanks for the reminder 🙏🏼🥰
