Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!

Self Love Practice Tip #2

You know you pouring in self love when you listening to your body cues. By body cues I mean times when your body tells you that it is uncomfortable or stressed, it doesn’t like something, you listen. What does it look like, you ask? Say for example you are in somebody’s house, say a friend’s house and things start to feel uncomfortable, you don’t feel welcomed, and you have this strong urge to leave. When you are walking in self love, that’s not an option. If whatever made you uncomfortable was maybe someone said something, made a remark and its okay. Whoever might be in the house whom you are not used to being there, whatever is going on, if you love yourself, you will listen to your body and realise that you might be tensing up, or breathing unevenly, you just feel flustered and fleshed and you are ready to go. You respect what your body tells you, you honour it and you leave. That does not mean that you are rude and disrespecting your friend, don’t make it about them. It means that you honour and respect your needs. There is a balance in everything but yes make yourself a priority.

Love yourself. You are worth it.

    1. For many people, the concept of self-love might conjure images of tree-hugging hippies or cheesy self-help books. But, as many psychology studies attest, self-love and -compassion are key for mental health and well-being, keeping depression and anxiety at bay.

  3. I’ve started to do this. It is easier said than done however, it is worth finding a balance.

    1. The most important relationship that we can have is with ourselves, with our souls, our psyche. Part of that relationship involves care and feeding or rather nurturing, in the act of self-love.
We’ve all heard the term before, we need to love ourselves before we can love someone else. But there is always a question of exactly what self-love is and how much is healthy before we become a little too much into ourselves.

    1. Thank you. As you can see, I’m so passionate about healing our self love & self worth because the quality of your entire life stem from these things – how you feel about yourself, how others perceive you, how likely you are to succeed. It’s time to let go of all that holds us back (most of the time it’s ourselves & our own minds) and truly live as freely and authentically as can be. You deserve to see how wonderful and lovable you are.

      1. Very true. Even I believe self love in today’s world is the best love. For if we don’t know to love ourselves, how can we love others
