My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. Self Love Practice Tip #24
In today’s post we will talk about how you need only 30 minutes of self love everyday to change your life. 30 minutes sound intimidating? Wondering what you will do for 30 minutes? Wondering how long your brain will take to throw at you all the negative thoughts, feelings that you have been trying to drown by keeping busy? Well, you are not alone. I had the same question myself and I still have some days where meditating (one of the self love practices I swear by) for even 5 minutes is a task. But I have come a long way and self love has brought a lot of improvement within me. Here are some things you can start with to practice self love for 30 minutes each day. Spend time in nature (with mask please even if you are vaccinated), meditate, consider these 30 minutes as a meeting with yourself by sending a calendar invite, read a novel, a fiction novel (reminds of the fact that I have been wanting to read one for quite sometime), you in the bath tub, you alone outside taking a walk, your drawing, you painting, you dancing, your singing. If you can’t find time during the day, start with 30 minutes before bed. Instead of surfing through Netflix and pissing your evening away, I mean I love my good fare share of Netflix, but you and I both know what it looks like when we go to Netflix just to numb out, same goes for TV. We are not focusing on the pictures, half of the time we are mindlessly scrolling through social media on our phones while sitting in front of TV. We love the hyper stimulation provided by these sources, maybe are even addicted to it.

So Bye Screens, Bye Social Media, Bye Other people who take over your self love time because you do not have healthy boundaries. 30 minutes of self love is You with You. You doing something with yourself and for yourself and by yourself.
