Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!
Self Love Practice Tip #29
In today’s post we will talk about romanticising some things in life. This might be some unpopular opinion because no one actually knows how it works. Now romanticising life does not mean that you lose touch with reality because even in sadness there is a beauty in being with your feelings, being with yourself. Romanticising your struggle means a lot of things for example most people want to write about their struggles in a book sometime in future. Cry in the rain like in the movies. Give your struggles a movie, cinematic vibe. It will empower you to keep going. Because guess what, the heroes journey in every single movie, which is why we love the protagonist, the main character, is that they usually come out on top. There is usually some journey, some lesson to be learned, some thing it unfolds so that everything makes sense. So that’s what I mean by romanticising things.
Here’s how to practice self love for 30 minutes everyday > https://empress2inspire.blog/2021/01/24/daily-dose-of-self-love-24/
So in life, picture yourself like a character in your favourite book or movie. Ofcourse they have a struggle, ofcourse they are battling their demons, ofcourse they are trying to run away from things. But at the same time, that is what makes us love the main character. Using this kind of mindset technique, actually helps with self care.
Tomorrow, we will talk more about self love. Do visit.

Will Smith said “Fail early, fail often, fail forward”. Failure is not cheap, a lot of people who idealize failure are often wealthy so they’re able to speak from an ivory tower.
