Daily Dose of Self Love

on

Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!

Self Love Practice Tip #28

In today’s post we will talk about the fact that it is important to move out of the toxic environment in order to grow. I saw a quote which said “If a flower doesn’t bloom, we don’t yell at the flower, we change its environment”. So give yourself more water, more love, more nourishment, more light and like a flower you will blossom too. Everybody has different needs. A cactus isn’t going to bloom in the rainforest and tropical rain forest tress aren’t going to bloom in the desert. So you really have to know what works for you and get out of the old environment. And I know a lot of people do not have the privilege to drop everything and move away. But think about the places that you are visiting, about the people you are talking to, think about how your home environment look like. Does the place where you sleep look like how you want it to look like? Does it feel good energetically? Switching up your environment is such a huge deal for healing and self love. Invest money to go on a trip, it could be a life changing experience to travel, to be somewhere to shake things up a little once and for all. With new people, new environment, new opinions, you get more love and support. Since COVID has limited our travel, try to spend more time outside in nature, listen to your favourite music, sleep (my favourite). Find time to unwind.

Yes it a wonderful self love activity HansiDani. Practicing good self-care will make you love yourself more when you take better care of your basic needs. People high in self-love nourish themselves daily through healthy activities, like sound nutrition, exercise, proper sleep, intimacy and healthy social interactions.

Great to know that. Here’s another inspiration for you when it comes to work environment. A toxic work environment is like having all of these challenges on repeat, without a break. Toxic work environments breed unrest, competition, low morale, constant stressors, negativity, sickness, high turnover, and even bullying. Even worse? Toxic workplaces rarely stay at work. They typically follow you home. They take over your conversations with loved ones, steal away much-needed sleep, and generally cause worry and stress.
