Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!
Self Love Practice Tip #36
In today’s post we will talk about to how you as an individual can combat the issue of questioning your worth. To change the world we have to change ourselves first. We can’t drink from an empty cup. You can’t give anyone else any love because you don’t have any in your cup to begin with. Do you have any systemic blocks in your mind which is preventing you from knowing your worth? Most certainly, the answer to this question is Yes. But we can control that because we have the power to control how we feel about ourselves regardless of outside sources. You can embark on this journey of self love and defeat your demons today, and achieve what you dream and what you want. You are deserving of all of that. Have courage and take the first step. Learning how to measure yourself in healthy ways of self worth. So make a list of that to really know what strengths are matching up to your self worth. You are a human being and you are allowed to join everyone else in the human experience.

No one should be made to feel inferior because of who they are. Self love and self confidence is all about walking into a room not worrying about what people of think of you but knowing that it doesn’t matter what they think of you because you know your worth.
Hope this helped. Come back tomorrow for more self love inspiration.

My favourite part was when you said:
‘You are a human being and you are allowed to join everyone else in the human experience.’
I think that line is very powerful.
We have all been an outsider in the world and an outsider in our own bodies and mind, for far too long now, it really is time to know that we are allowed to join everyone else in the human experience.

Happy. We use this word as though happy is a goal unto itself. An elusive objective, indeed.

True pleasure is the end product of choosing activities and successfully completing tasks that give meaning to our lives. Trying to recreate this “natural high” feeling of satisfaction and purpose without the corresponding activity or work can create addictive behaviors. The abuse of alcohol, drugs, sex, or food to simulate satisfaction can tragically lead to a downward spiral of pleasure seeking that separates a person from the ability to choose what “happens” in his or her life. Addictive behavior ultimately destroys a person’s ability to pursue happiness.
