Today let us talk about intuitive eating. Intuitive eating is a non diet approach where you honour your hunger. You stop tying mortality to food choices and respect your stomach when its full. It tells you to eat like you were supposed to, like your bodies were made to eat for nourishment. It is a lifestyle rather than a diet. Intuitive eating says when you are hungry, you eat and stop thinking about whether food is good or bad. We do not release how much war we have been with food because of diet culture. You are afraid to eat carbs, sweets, fats and pretty much everything. Diet culture gives you so many rules when it comes to eating that results in people hating food altogether. There would be days when people drive themselves crazy thinking of what to eat because they were hungry, didn’t; have much time or they did have time but were so torn between they should be having and what they to have. We are always thinking about what should we eat to keep ourselves healthy. Listen, there are too many complicated things in life and that too without even us trying. Let’s not make food, which is an essential tenet of life, a complicated one.
