We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. Self Love Practice Tip #64
Today we will talk about body positivity. We always fall prey to the diet culture and fitness culture advertising. We buy their products and their programs and then when the effect wears off and the pounds pile up, we feel bad about ourselves. Then we give up exercise and dieting because we consider them as huge disappointments. Do you know why this happens? Because we are looking for a quick fix, which the diet and fitness culture companies egg and on and sell you a dream body. Don’t look at exercise as just an activity to move your body or a way to punish your body for having fat. Who wants to be reminded of those negative things anyways. I know many people feel the same way. So sure give up exercising and dieting if that makes you feel better but remember to take them up a while later and in a healthier way. Exercise can be simple. It does not necessarily always have to be military like, burning a large amount of calories and sweating like a pig. It would be a walk or a stroll around the park.
