Daily Dose of Self Love

Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!

Self Love Practice Tip #86

In today’s post we will talk on how to stop comparing yourself to others. Get inspired. When you start to get into that positive thinking mindset and feel better about yourself, you can then start looking for other people and social media accounts for inspiration rather than comparing your life with theirs. Now that I feel great about myself and be focused on my path, I look at pages or photos for inspiration and when I create my own spin for inspiration, then it makes me feel empowered. I can then inspire others to do the same. When you compare yourself to others, you don’t really get motivated and it deters you from being your best. Also, if someone inspires you, ask them questions or words of advice. Learn from others instead of thinking they are better than you. They always have to teach you something new. It could happen to you in your workplace as well. Oftentimes I feel intimidated by the people in the workplace even though we are all working virtually. Learn from them and at the same time remember that you have something unique to contribute to the team as well. We are all something and we need to embrace the good as well and maybe learn from others to maybe either help us elevate what we are good at or with our weaknesses. So look for people for inspiration.

Come back tomorrow to know more about comparing yourself to others.

Yes its just unknowing-ness of the path not taken and ardent knowing-ness of the path we are currently living. Pardon my choice of words, felt a little fancy on grammar today…haha
