Daily Dose of Self Love

on

Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!

Self Love Practice Tip #91

In today’s post we will continue to talk about how to hush your inner critic. Keep your focus on your goals instead of that negative nasty inner self critic. These are separate things and they are great self awareness tool. You will feel better once you are ready to separate these things. You will understand that it is a part of you but you will not let it rule your decisions just because you are fearing the unknown again. It is not that you are not good enough or anything like that the inner critic voice is trying to tell you. It is formed by people who have put you down and then if you have heard it more than once, doesn’t mean that it has any truth over it. If you hear something over and over again or from more than one person, you start thinking that maybe what they are saying is true but it could be that you are hanging around the same negative people or maybe they are jealous of you or maybe they are nice but they don’t know your truth or they are unable to understand where your dreams and desires are coming from. Again don’t let the tricky little voice make you believe that what the others are saying is true. You do you. Mostly these negative beliefs and inner critic comes from family members that you inherently trust and look up to and when someone puts you down, it makes it hard not to believe. But like I said, it is great to identify it first and foremost.

Come back tomorrow for more inspiration.

Glad you liked the article. Every person is divided; part of us is goal-directed and self-possessed, while another part is self-critical, self-denying, and even self-destructive. This ‘anti-self” perpetuates a negative thought process, which refers to as the critical inner voice.
