Self Love Practice Tip #92
In today’s post we will continue to talk about how to hush your inner critic. The inner critic can come at you very harsh sometimes and can get you really down. Hushing it down takes work and practice and you have to understand that you can never permanently hush this voice off. It depends on how much emotional abuse you have undergone and how your inner critic has shaped over the years. You got to have lots of compassion for yourself. Now how to break this nasty voice habit which is important. So this nasty little habit is a bad habit because when we are afraid of the unknown, we tend to fall back to fear and in our comfort zones. Even if they are negative and we want to believe those lies that the nasty little voices are telling us. These lies that you will never be good enough, don’t even try, you are not as good as the other person. We allow this little habits into our lives so that we can make excuses to stay in our safe zones and comfort zones. It’s in a way trying to protect you by saying stay in your safe zone and we all know nothing grows out of our comfort zones. So be mindful of whenever these phrases come up. If you are going after something you are scared of, do it anyway. Just identifying that will make you understand like okay this works.
