Daily Dose of Self Love

on

Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!

Self Love Practice Tip #71

In today’s post we will discuss about self doubt. First off, please know this, you are powerful, purposeful and valuable – PPV. We all have felt worthless at times and it is an awful feeling. Everyone feels that feeling of inadequacy and self doubt like no one is immune to that. Even the most confident person feels that way even if they appear to never feel that way, they do. We are only human and having self doubt is the most humane feeling of all. It usually happens when things don’t go our way or we are trying something new. We begin to question our ability and our worth. Or maybe you were in a relationship where the other person has treated you like garbage and you begin to label yourself certain things, maybe start to believe them when they are blaming everything on you. It is also tough when you do not have an outlet which will allow you to vent because you are afraid of being judged. It is a vulnerable feeling to say to someone that you feel inadequate or feel like you are not good enough. I mean its hard to tell family and friends right?

Thoughts? Come back tomorrow for more on self doubt.

Self-compassion yields a number of benefits, including lower levels of anxiety and depression. Self-compassionate people recognize when they are suffering and are kind to themselves at these times, which reduces their anxiety and related depression.
