Meditation Techniques for Spells Part 3

Practising techniques such as observing your breathing, reciting mantras, creative visualisation and just sitting peacefully can help you to apply meditation to spell working.

Creative Meditation

Creative visualisation is the process of using a symbol to focus the power of your mind and so direct your energies to the desired result of a spell. You could use a glyph to call upon the energies of the Sun or Moon, for example.

First draw your symbol and focus on it for a few minutes. Close your eyes, and create a mental “sketch” of the symbol. Sharpen the lines and fill in the colours. Amend it until you are happy. Now draw on your desire to achieve the effect, building up the emotional charge.

Burning Imprint

See the image becoming a burning blaze, imprinting itself on your unconscious. Focus all your will into the image and then “shoot it off” like a rocket. You are now mentally prepared and empowered to perform magic.

Create a symbol in your mind to represent the focus of your spell, or the power you wish to harness, such as the sun or moon.

    1. Meditation reduces noise. So by eliminating interference in your thoughts meditation allows you more mental capacity to use for creative thoughts. yes, meditation is very useful for creativity. the activity itself is useless, but the way you will feel after meditation will be as if you had pressed the reset button.
