Do Not Listen to Opinions

“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” ~Dr. Seuss

Your DNA has never occurred in the past and will never occur in the future again. An incredible thought to ponder upon. This uniqueness that you are born with has a reason. There is a Purpose behind it. Do you know yourself, your Purpose?

Self-awareness- knowing about yourself so that you can grow yourself.

A Chinese proverb that I love says, “The journey is the reward.”

All you have is your time on this planet, the question is “what do you do with it?”

Many people do not take care of their money till they nearly come to the end of it, and others do just the same with their time.

“A human being is part of a whole, called by us the ‘Universe’ —a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts, and feelings, as something separated from the rest—a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” — Albert Einstein

“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”― Rumi

Behind every atom in this world, lies an infinite universe.

In short, you’re a lot more than meets the casual eye. You are an amazing, infinitely valuable, unique creature. Now what are you selling all this for? All human beings are priceless, but the payments- tangible and intangible- they receive from life vary greatly.

“He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened.” ― Lao Tzu

The first thing you have to know is your own self. A man who knows himself can step outside his self conscious and watch his own reactions like an observer. The closer you come to knowing that you alone create the world of your experience, the more vital it becomes for you to discover just who is doing the creating. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself. It’s what no one knows about you that allows you to know yourself. Trust and believe in the values of your insights, the values of thoughts and ideas that come to You. Discover a smile you didn’t know you had, a feeling that you didn’t know existed in you. The most important relationship in your life is with yourself. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. He who looks outside sleeps, he who looks within, awakens.

Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.

Be yourselfeveryone else is already taken.”— Oscar Wilde

“I searched for God and found only myself. I searched for myself and found only God.”― Rumi

Nature’s intelligence functions with effortless ease and abandoned carefreeness.

Your real strength comes from being your best you.

If I want to be free, I have to be ‘ME’. Not the ‘ME’ my friends want me to be, Not the ‘ME’ my parents want me to be. So I Better know who ‘ME’ is.

Life is a checkerboard, and the player opposite you is time. If you hesitate before moving, or neglect to move promptly, your men will be wiped off the board by Time. You are playing against a partner who will not tolerate indecision!

Humans tend toward cognitive distortions, patterns of negative thinking that can hurt our mood or behavior. For example, we may assume the worst, or filter out the good in a situation and pay attention only to the bad. Or we may overgeneralize or jump to conclusions. Pay attention to your thoughts, and question them rather than allowing impressions to run away with you. You may discover that what you’re fretting over exists only in your mind.

It’s said that people would care a lot less about what others think about them if they knew how little others think about them. And it’s true: Everyone has enough to occupy their mind. They also have their own insecurities. If you’re worried about how you come across to someone you’ve just met, keep in mind that they’re probably doing the same. Thank you!!

To feel accepted is a nearly universal human desire. After all, we evolved to survive better in groups, where fitting in and having the trust and respect of our peers are the measures of success. The need to belong is in our DNA. But sometimes that need takes center stage, and what others think about us takes on more importance than what we think about ourselves.
