“Who am I?”
“What do I want?”
“What does it take to get it?”
Do you constantly feel that people perceive you in a wrong way? Do you feel they don’t really understand what thought process you are coming from?
Well, let me ask you another question here, how do you want people to perceive you? Are your thoughts really making sense or are they just knee jerk reaction of your brain to a question? If the answer to both the questions above are IDK (I don’t know), then its time to answer these questions as these vital questions define your whole life’s purpose.
You need to know who you are “fundamentally” to be successful in life. You need to have clear values and always have them at the top of your head so that you are constantly reminded of them. Stay true to yourself always, don’t compromise on your values no matter how tempted you are to do otherwise.
But isn’t it difficult to hold onto your anger, when someone is getting on your nerves? Well, yea..ask me, I usually take the steam off there and then on that person, just to prove my point. But, what have I done here? I went against my values to keep calm in stressful situations. And why does that happen? It happens because we are not remind of our values everyday. They are embedded somewhere in the deepest corners of our brain where nobody visits them. They are all forgotten.
So next time, you want to lose your cool. Detach yourself. Do not respond immediately. Stay quite. Ask your mind to SHUT DOWN..!!! Remember your values, imagine the whole world is watching your next reaction right now. Do you feel conscious? Good..!!! You just won half the battle. You have become more self aware and now your shall be clearly guided on how to behave.
What will it take to achieve your goals? Man is a social animal. You want to believe me or not, upto you but I firmly believe that you cannot be a one man army…that is you cannot work alone. You have to work as a team, not matter how much you dislike it or not matter how much it brings down you efficiency. So, how do we begin to work as a team member? Well, remember one and the only principle in life, people like to work with people they LIKE..!!! If people think you are unapproachable and difficult, well you can forget reaching the top of the game.

1. Keep a weekday routine If you normally wake up at 5:30, go for a run, and eat breakfast Monday through Friday, then do the same thing on Saturday. Even if you take a day off from running, getting up at the same time every day ensures that your body is getting the rest it needs without sleeping too much (or too little) on the weekends. 2. Plan a schedule Sure, weekends are a time to slow down a little, but planning what you want to accomplish each day will make every second of your weekend count. The worst way to spend a weekend is to waste it trying to figure out what you want to do. Spend some time earlier in the week or on Saturday morning deciding on one or two tasks that you want to accomplish on Saturday and again on Sunday. This makes sure you have some productivity on the weekend while still giving yourself plenty of freedom. 3. Catch up on important things Contrary to popular belief, people who are successful in business don't spend all of their waking hours working. They take time on the weekends to get together with family and friends, to exercise, and yes, even to get some chores done around the house. Work is important, but so is your family, your home, and your health. Make these a priority on the weekends to balance out your work life and your home life. 4. Take a break Meditate, go for a hike, wash the car, or take in the theater. Successful people know that their minds can't be working full-tilt 24/7, so they make time on the weekends to clear their thoughts to get ready for the week. Adding entertainment to the weekend is a great way to relax and take your mind off of work. 5. Prepare for Monday Successful people know that they need to start Monday on a high note, so they take time on Sunday to plan ahead for the week. Set aside some time for yourself to check in on your schedule for the week ahead so that you know exactly what needs to be done first thing Monday morning. Make a list of events, meetings, or important things you need to do to keep momentum toward your goals. Another great idea is to make an "I did" list of things that you accomplished in the last week–this will keep you motivated and excited about pushing forward.
Emotional Literacy is your ability to identify and articulate your emotions. Control your emotions, be nice to people, appreciate them (not over appreciate) for their work, congratulate them for their success, be friendly, be consistent in doing these little things. Trust me you will be a star and feeling will start liking you.
Your goal is within your reach. Gone are those days when the goals where to pass an exam. Life was easy then. Now you are in the world’s amphitheatre and all the eyes are on you. What will you do? Will you make a fool of yourself, or would you rise and shine!!!???
Until next time…be different…be unique…embrace yourself…!!!!! Take Care.

Always think positive. Squash all negative thoughts. In a study at the Mayo clinic in Rochester, Minnesota patients were given a personality test that assessed their levels of optimism and pessimism. The progress of the patients was measured over 30 years, and it was found that the optimists lived longer than average for their age and gender while the pessimists had a shorter than average life. Researchers found that optimism strengthens the immune system and helps people to adopt healthier lifestyles. Optimists feel better about themselves and take better care of themselves, while pessimists confirm their fears by having higher blood pressure, more anxiety and depression. You can choose to have depressing, negative thoughts or inspirational, positive thoughts; your attitude determines your mindset, which in turn determines your behaviours and the outcomes in your life. Many studies show that you will achieve more, feel happier and live longer if you chose the positive option. Here are some tips to boost your positive thinking.
