Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. Self Love Practice Tip #3
Another way to know you are into self love is by assessing what you do when you body gives you a signal that it is under stress. We all have different kinds of stresses, stress from studies, stress from work. In such stressful conditions body sends you messages like you are not able to sleep properly, you getting anxious about things more than usual, your body is giving you weird aches and pains, losing weight for no reason. Now we all know that we should incorporate certain well known self love exercises like, take some time off your phone before sleeping, do some stretches, do some meditation, write your journal etc etc, but who has the time? I understand, in the same boat as you. But can we make a commitment to practice one or more of these exercises when we receive a signal from our bodies. There is no point of ignoring your body cues because eventually you will snap mentally or physically. So we need to make time for what is important to us, what matters to us. We need to prioritise our bodies and honour its needs.
You are not a machine. You are a person who has a body who has needs and you need to take rest. Your body needs relaxation, it needs to recharge and it needs to find an outlet for stress because stress is inevitable.
