Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!
Self Love Practice Tip #41
In today’s post we will continue our talk on learning to embrace pictures taken of you. Another tip for you is to bring out your inner sexy and have fun. Some of us take photos too seriously, some of us look like a deer in headlights when we take that photo with family or friends. I am a lot shy in front of the camera and I do well when I am taking photos of myself that too very rarely. And I have learned that though photos and just photos, if you are just carefree and let loose, you get better photos. So try to get comfortable with the camera and get acquainted with it by taking pictures everywhere you go. Try different poses, don’t just stand still. Have a little fun, add a little personality. Don’t do the same smile. Try a pose, or different facial expression. See what works for you and may even try this in the mirror and just see what you like and what you appear as and what’s your best angle and all that. And I am not saying what’s your best angle in terms of you should be ashamed of some of your body parts, I am saying that you know what you like and if that is something makes you feel confident, do it.
Some people feel that those who take selfies and too many pictures are in vain and narcissistic even. But I feel that those people are the confident ones and want to at look themselves for improvement.
Hope this helped. Come back tomorrow because I will share tips on how to embrace your photos.
So true 🙂
