Self Love Practice Tip #55
Today we will continue to talk about intuitive eating. The diet culture wants you to deprive yourself and not really give your body what it wants. They want to lose weight fast instead of obtaining a lifestyle where you eat properly to stay healthy. Just because of this diet culture we are okay with starving and taking diet pills that is going to make us look how the society wants us to look like. We don’t even care whether this kind of dieting will pose as a health risk or not. Intuitive eating really turns me on because it has multiple benefits. Number one being that you get to eat. There is no restricting, no counting calorie, no labelling food good or bad, no labelling food good or bad. The label that we should be putting on food should be “fuel”. When you diet, you get intense cravings, I specially start to crave carbs. I would even skip eating due to labelling of bad food or good food, but now it’s all fuel. We do not have to afraid of food, we can eat even the bad foods, it’s okay. Food should not be something we should be stressing about.
