Self Love Practice Tip #60
Today we will continue to talk about intuitive eating. Quick question. Is it still body positivity if you want to lose weight or if you have fitness goals? I think a lot of people question that. Learning about intuitive eating can freak out a lot of people because they feel that it is not going to make them lose weight. We all feel that losing weight means starving yourself and giving up on things you like to eat. We need to go more deeper into body positivity and it’s relationship with intuitive eating but for now the goal is to see if this concept of intuitive eating works for you. From my personal experience, intuitive eating has worked for me in a positive way mentally. I am not shaming myself anymore. I no longer pass away the donut shop without stopping myself, in fact now that I know its okay for me to eat them, I do not crave them anymore. I don’t shame myself for wanting to eat and that has been a big mindset change for me. Your body tells you what it wants and what it does not want. Your body will reject anything that is bad for you. Listen to your body.
