My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. Self Love Practice Tip #74
In today’s post we will continue to discuss about self doubt. Worried if venting to others might hurt you even more? Well, you are not the only one. I have the same concern. I believe it is important and safest to vent out to yourself. It brings about a lot of self awareness. How can you self vent? Well journalising is one of the great way to bring self awareness and understand your venting patterns so that you are rise above them. Write out exactly what you would like to yell out some other person or situation. Yell out what you are feeling to yourself, like say “I feel I am not good enough” or “I do so much for other person but they always screw me over”….blah blah blah. When you journal like this and read it back, you will see that it is just a lot of negative emotions that you are going through and I always feel that self doubt or the feeling of inadequacy props up when we are facing something new because of the fear of the unknown. Yes, we want to revert back to comfort even if it means going back to a negative place or somewhere where it is not good for us still something we know so we will go back there. More on it tomorrow.
