Beat Winter Colds and Chills

Thyme is essential for treating respiratory infections. Add to chest rubs and steam inhalations to chase away colds.

Core throat Gargle – For rapid relief from the misery of a sore throat, gargle three times day with 3 drops each of thyme and clary sage in a glass of warm water. Do not swallow.

Hankerchief Inhalation – At the first sign of a cold, inhale the vapours from an handkerchief of :
– 2-3 drops of thyme
– 2-3 drops of peppermint

Steam Inhalation – Ease sinusitis congestion with a steam inhalation. Add to a bowl of hot water :
– 2 drops of thyme
– 2 drops of eucalyptus
– 2 drops of rosemary
Breathe deeply for 10 minutes

A steam inhalation of thyme, eucalyptus and rosemary has antiseptic properties that helps fight against bacteria.
