Fruit based carrier oils can nourish and moisture your skin, improving your complexion and easing inflamed skin conditions such as acne and eczema.
Benefit from a Facial
Facial massages with nourishing fruit oils suit most skin types, but are especially beneficial for dry or sensitive skins. A 3-4 minute facial massage will improve the circulation and give your skin a healthy glow. You can use a carrier oil alone for this purpose, or add the following essential oils to increase the massage’s therapeutic effects :
- For dry/mature skins
– 15ml apricot carrier oil
– 1 drop geranium
– 1 drop myrrh
– 2 drops neroli - For chapped skin
– 15ml avocado carrier oil
– 3 drops chamomile
– 2 drops frankincense - For oily skin
– 15ml avocado or grapeseed carrier oil
– 2 drops eucalyptus
– 2 drops tea tree - For healthy skin
– 15ml avocado carrier oil
– 3 drops geranium
– 4 drops orange oil
Using Oil blends in facial massages helps to protect delicate skin.
Perfect Body Moisturisers
Lock in moisture after a bath or shower by rubbing grapeseed oil into your skin, before you completely dry yourself off.
- Pay particular attention to areas of dry and rough skin such as your heels and elbows.
Make a shallow cup with your hand and pour in the oil. Allow a few seconds for your hands to warm the oil before rubbing it over your body.
