The world will always hand you down a pre-existing script. It will tell you who to be, how to dress, the manner in which you should communicate, the amount of money you need to make and the kind of nest you need to build. Maybe this script works for you. Maybe it feels like a whole lot of BS. Maybe you don’t care about making a tonne of money. Maybe you want to live on a farm, wake up at the crack of dawn and spend your days surrounded by your furry friends. Maybe you want to let go of the idea of permanency and travel the world with nothing but your backpack. Maybe you want o make “unconventional” career choices despite your degree – choices that make no sense to the outside world. The good news is, it doesn’t have to. This is your sign to throw that script out of the window or hold a fire ritual at home. It’s time to stop betraying yourself. It’s time to stop living somebody else’s dream of you. You owe it to yourself to create a life that brings you joy.
