Navigating life’s made up dramas

Longing, questioning, and ambiguity are experiences that I find both frightening and rewarding. Trust me, I understand their hardship. It’s similar like standing at the brink of a cliff, unsure whether to jump or hold back; exhilarating yet scary.
Perhaps you’re in a nice situation, in a stable relationship with someone decent. Perhaps there is no cause to doubt who you are or what you can accomplish. But sometimes your imagination weaves stories like a novelist creating drama. Your heart, accustomed to the rollercoaster ride, almost anticipates it, as if waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Feeling uneasy, in my opinion, is a red light that signals you to focus on what needs to be healed. It functions similarly to a car’s check engine light, indicating the need for a tune-up.
When you’re with the right person, they’re like your greatest cheerleader, reminding you of your value, strengths, and what makes you unique every day. They will never leave you feeling like a spare component. If you need reassurance, they’ll provide it like your favourite comfort food.
Spending time understanding yourself and your emotions is just as vital as being with someone who nurtures your heart and soul. It’s similar to making a pit stop on a road journey to ensure that the vehicle operates smoothly.
Allow yourself the luxury of privacy. Learn about the experience of personal development. Learn your own love language and identify the portions of yourself that want some extra attention. It’s as critical as eating breakfast in the morning.
You are the only person who truly knows you. You’re the only person who understands the jokes you tell yourself in the middle of the night.
Facing your concerns might sometimes take a gentle reminder. It’s similar like diving from the high board at the pool, confident in your abilities to create a splash. Believe in yourself and your abilities.
Remember, you are considerably more valuable than you realise, and you are genuinely worth your weight in gold.
Take care.
