How to Stay Positive If You Fail

Positivity is a state of mind. It’s a mental attitude that helps to steer your mind towards actions that are conducive to self belief and confidence. When you have a strong mental attitude and a positive mindset you anticipate and look forward to fulfilment and happiness.

So how to stay positive if you fail :

  • Control Self Doubt – From Self-doubt comes negative thinking that unseen and negative influence which leads you to out things off; sometimes things that really matter. We normally know when this has happened but by then it’s too late. The damage is done, the opportunity you should have seized has gone. Have the discipline to stop negative thinking.
  • Be Aware of Your Thoughts – Positive and negative thinking are contagious. A negative attitude can show itself in your body language. This tends to happen on a subconscious level but can still have a significant impact on others. For example, socially, people don’t tend to want to be around negative thinkers because they find them depressing; they find positive people more exciting and interesting. So, negative thinking can have an impact on your friendships and your social life too.
  • Stop Negative Language – You might not think it but what you say does have an impact on how positive (or negative) you actually feel. Confident people speak positive language. This helps them to stay positive in their mental attitude. For example, saying sorry when an apology isn’t appropriate sends negative signals to your mind. It also communicates a submissive message to the other people. If taken to an extreme it can also lead to feelings of insecurity and inferiority.
  • Control Worrying – Controlling the effect that worrying has on your mental attitude is a vital component of maintaining a positive mindset. The simple way to do this is to have the self discipline to keep your worries in proportion. Natural worries always have to have something to worry about. If there’s nothing major to worry about in their life at that time, they’ll worry about something small.

      The advice youโ€™ve been hearing most often is the one that is helping the most, and that is to simply stay positive by thinking about all the bad situations youโ€™ve been in and youโ€™ve gotten over them. Every person has gone through a lot of negative situations during their lifetime, and yet all of us reading this are still here. Also, even what seems like the worst situation of your life still can have a positive income. Think about it. Maybe you had to go through foreclosure of your house, but it ended with you moving to the best neighborhood there is, or you ended up still managing to find the perfect house at a lower price. And if all else fails, youโ€™ll still notice that every bad experience from the past had to end at some point, and so will this. You will get through this and you will be stronger because of it.Remind yourself of this on an everyday basis.

  4. Great post-Garima but there are certain situations and circumstances that beyond our wish and control. Although many times we try and tend to be optimistic and positive but difficult times robes us.Once again nice tips๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน

      It helps to think that they were not meant to be in our lives or their time in our lives was over so that we can make space for allowing more in our lives. It takes practice to this way but if we do develop this, the hurt is less.

      Taking what you can from each experience, positive or negative, and moving forward toward your main goal is the best way to stay positive. NOTHING IS A FAILURE if you’re able to learn something from it, and you can almost always learn something from any setback.
