Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. Self Love Practice Tip #12
In terms of practical things you can do to love yourself more is “Fake It Till You Make It”. You don’t have to love yourself right now, that’s okay. Being where you are, feeling what you are feeling, what you are experiencing right now is absolutely okay. But one of the main things you can do to start to change that is to act as if you do love yourself. So ask yourself, what would I be doing differently if I loved myself. What would I eat for my dinner tonight? What would I do for my lunch break at work? Who would I see on the weekends? What time would I go to bed? How would I speak to myself? Perhaps take some notes during the day in your phone or journal and think about how you can fake it till you make it, acting as if you love yourself. Taking action is incredibly powerful. As long as we can tell ourselves positive affirmations, we can try and tell ourselves positive things, we are okay but actually taking some action for self love is the real way in which we can bring about a change in our life. If you can act like you love yourself, it is going to send you a message on a physical bodily, conscious level that you are worthy, that you are worth loving, that you are worth taking care of.
