Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!
Self Love Practice Tip #42
In today’s post we will continue our talk on learning to embrace pictures taken of you. We are often afraid to be judged by other people by feeling great about ourselves. We don’t want them to feel that we are so full of ourselves. But that’s a bunch of garbage. Remember people will always have something to say so if you want to do it for you, stop caring about what others will say. A lot of people think that social media has made us so vain but our grandparents would have done the same thing if they had it available. So don’t be afraid of taking photos or not feeling great about how you look in photos. If someone is making comment on the photo, let them make it.

We should take photos so that we can share them with our loved ones. Because one day all that is left will be these memories of you and your loved ones in photos. With the current time and maybe near future, meeting every one of your loved ones is difficult. It is in these photos that you will be able to live their lives and know how they are and what they are upto. If you have people around who love you unconditionally and not care how you look and will enjoy the photos you have with them, we won’t need anything else. And yes we all have people in our close family who will end up saying negative things on your photos, don’t let these people take away the emotion of the photo away from you. Focus on the positive people and love them.
Hope this helped. Come back tomorrow because I will share tips on how to embrace your photos.
