We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. Self Love Practice Tip #68
Today we will talk about body positivity. Try to understand the real reason why you are wanting to lose weight because the majority of the time you will find that you are really doing it because of the diet culture. If you want to lose weight so that you fell better physically and you are doing it for yourself and I would suggest you go about it in a healthy way that does not involve starving or non-nourishing your body. When we restrict, and then get off from that diet our body will want to play catch up and then most people gain back the weight and more. So make sure you are doing it to feel better about it mentally. This is being body positive . You may lose weight but if your issues about living yourself and accepting the weight remain as it is then you have made no difference. If you are wanting to lose weight because you are having intimacy issues with your partner, then this is also a bad reason for weight loss. It is not health mentally. Losing weight will not help you with emotional and mental issues. You must make sure that you not tying your self worth and value with your weight and appearance because that is not being body positive.
