Herbs for Warts Part 2
Get rid of your warts by using herbs that will stimulate your immune system along with those that combat skin infections, such as dandelion and lemon.
Lemon – Lemon is a natural cleanser and is useful for helping your body to release toxins. Drink lemon juice for clear skin and bright eyes and apply the juice of a fresh lemon directly to warts or verrucas. You can include lemon juice and rind in your cooking to help boost your immune system. Heal you warts by applying some fresh lemon juice.
Thuja – Thuja is made from the twigs and leave of the white cedar tree and is called “to” by the Chinese, who use the herb extensively for healing. It is used as a homeopathic medicine and herbal tincture for the treatment of warts and veruucas, and for alleviating reactions to immunisations and vaccinations. Take thuja as a homeopathic remedy or buy the tincture and take 3 drops in a glass of water twice daily.
Burdock – Burdock is a cleansing herb and is useful for skin conditions, warts and verrucas, and as a digestive aid. The roots, leaves and seeds are all used in herbal remedies. You can make a tea by boiling a teaspoon of the seeds in a cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Once the tea has successfully brewed, strain and then drink. Use your herbal knowledge to make simple tinctures to treat warts.
