Self Love Practice Tip #107
In today’s post we will continue to talk about how to stop comparing yourself to others. You have to constantly evaluate whether there are people around you who make your compete all the time or are you doing it to yourself. Most important part of the process if to know for sure what are your feeling at the moment when you are comparing yourself or completing with someone. For example when I catch myself comparing myself to others, I feel like I have not made the necessary progress in certain areas of my life, so becoming aware of it has taught be that there are still things that I seem to be struggling with and which are getting highlighted at the moment. Then I change what I am doing. For example I put my phone away if I was comparing myself with someone on the social media apps, and start working on my goals. That gives my self confidence a boost. Becoming aware of when, why and who you are comparing yourself to helps you deal with these emotions otherwise you will never stop doing it and never be underrated the deeper root of causes of these feelings of why you are comparing yourself to others in the first place.
