• Tell the girl in the bathroom you love her shirt.
  • Laugh! Laugh a lot and never hold it back.
  • Forgive.
  • If someone or something is upsetting you, take a deep breath and let it go. Don’t let it affect you or how you treat others.
  • Don’t be afraid to fall in love, but be wise about who you open your heart to.
  • Ask people questions about themselves. It makes them feel important.
  • Cry. Sometimes you need to.
  • Play board games with your little brother.
  • Focus your energy more on your character than on your outward appearance.
  • Crawl into your parents bed and talk to them.
  • Be selfless – no matter if you are acknowledged for it or not
  • Take a million pictures, but don’t forget to live that moment too.
  • Smile. Smile until your cheeks hurt.
  • Never hesitate to get up early to watch the sunset or to stay up late to look at the stars.
  • Stay in your big brothers room until he kicks you out, because in a few years he’ll be gone.

    1. Glad you liked the list Kinge. Appreciating the little things in life involves focusing our attention on what is pleasurable, nurturing, and sustaining in our lives and away from those events that are annoying, frustrating, or hurtful. It means practicing gratitude for those everyday things that are easy to take for granted or miss altogether.

    1. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with all we have going on. It’s easy to question ourselves and our work. And it’s also easy to find simple ways to make a difference. A huge difference.
