Today I want you to know that….

You are struggling.

I want so desperately to take it all away. I want to shake you awake, make you realize you are capable of standing tall and leaving the negativity behind. It breaks my heart to see you stuck in this destructive cycle.

I can still see you running wild and carefree. I can still feel the determination in your words. I only wish the words you speak now were not so desolate. If only we could turn the dial back, be children once more. If only we knew that what we experienced was not okay maybe we would not have grown into such similar experiences. If only you could just realize that it doesn’t have to hold you back anymore.
