Things Every Friend Should Know

There are few things in a friendship that can be taken for granted.

  • You don’t have to apologise to me for not texting back when you have so much going on.
  • You don’t have to apologise to me for “going silent” or not reaching out when you’re not feeling yourself.
  • You don’t have to apologise to me for cancelling plans when you really need to prioritise yourself and your mental health. Infact, there’s nothing more I want than you to prioritise yourself.
  • You don’t have to apologise to me for telling me how you feel.
  • You don’t have to apologise to me for being “needy” when you need somebody there.
  • You don’t have to apologise to me for talking about your mental health, you’re not a burden. I want to listen, always.
  • You don’t have to apologise to me for being a bad friend when you’re distant. Friendships aren’t always going to be easy but we chose each other and I’m here for it all.

What would you add to the list?

      • My pleasure,

        But it’s true!
I saw a lot of blogs, many with empty content but lot of followers, some others with good content, and just a few followers. But yours is well balanced, your content is appealing and you have a good progress with followers. Is good to see that!

I hope my content also be appealing for you, I don’t post that often though.
