Because Adulting is Just a Series of Emotional Tsunamis

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that everything is going to be fine. Whatever you are going through right now, no matter how painful or overwhelming it feels, it will not endure forever. I guarantee you that the anguish and heaviness you’re bearing will ultimately fade. It is critical to remember that the part of you that feels deeply, that experiences emotions with such intensity, is not something to be ashamed of or repress. It’s an essential aspect of who you are, and it deserves to be recognised and celebrated.

You do not have to apologise for feeling the way you do. You don’t have to suppress your feelings or pretend that everything is fine when it isn’t. Most essential, you do not have to tackle anything on your own. It’s okay to seek out, ask for support, and rely on someone you trust. You deserve to be supported and understood.

It is critical to let go of anything you are holding inside. You must let go of it in order to experience freedom and healing. Be there for yourself, and don’t be hesitant to tell others what you’re really feeling. It may seem unpleasant or painful at first, but the relief and comfort you will experience afterwards are well worth it. You are worth fighting for. You are a warrior, and it is critical to remember that.

Hope finds us when we allow ourselves to believe that everything will be fine. Sometimes life throws us curveballs, and things can become really difficult. But, despite the difficulties, don’t forget the moments of beauty and joy that life has offered you. And remember, there are still wonderful adventures waiting for you just around the corner.

Life is short and extremely valuable. It’s critical to avoid drama and anything that won’t help you become the best version of yourself. Avoid situations or people who take you away from where you feel most at home. You are your own home and safe haven. You have the ability to build a life full of love, joy, peace, and everything that reminds you of how amazing it is to be alive.

Be aware of who and what you let into your life. Don’t let anyone or anything distract you from the peace you deserve. It’s easy to get caught up in trying to help everyone else, but don’t forget about yourself. You are the most important person in your life, so prioritise yourself. I do not want you to look back and regret not putting yourself first. If you don’t prioritise your own well-being, you’ll keep choosing people who aren’t good for you and repeating harmful behaviours.

It is time to let go of your guilt and fear of harming individuals you care about. Remove anything that does not belong in your life. If it isn’t helping you become the best version of yourself, let it go. What feels overwhelming right now will pass, and you may be confident that the universe will hold it tenderly for you. Give in to the process and allow yourself to recover.

Think about your daily existence. How often do you get caught up in the hustle and bustle, hurrying from one duty to the next without pausing to breathe? It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life, but it’s critical to take a step back and consider what really matters. Are you devoting your time and energy to activities that bring you joy and fulfilment, or are you caught up in duties and expectations that deplete you?

Consider your relationships in life. Are they nurturing and supporting, or do they leave you feeling exhausted and unappreciated? It’s okay to create boundaries and distance yourself from people who don’t provide value to your life. Surround yourself with people who motivate and inspire you to be the best version of yourself.

Take a time to appreciate life’s small joys. Whether it’s a warm cup of coffee in the morning, a walk in the park, or a good book, these small moments of happiness can have a significant impact on your overall well-being. Make time for activities that make you happy and provide you calm.

Remember that asking for help when you need it is perfectly acceptable. Whether it’s talking to a friend, seeking professional help, or simply taking a break, looking after your mental and emotional health is critical. You don’t have to do everything on your own, and there’s no shame in asking for help.

As you go through life’s ups and downs, remember that you’re not alone. Everyone encounters obstacles and struggles, and it is OK to seek help from others. You are strong and resilient, and you have the ability to conquer any challenges life throws at you.

Accept your feelings, both high and poor. They are an essential part of what makes you human, and they may help you develop and heal. Allow yourself to feel and express your emotions in a healthy manner, and do not be afraid to seek help when necessary.

Life is a journey, and it’s critical to be kind to yourself along the way. Celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how minor, and learn from your errors. Remember that you’re continually growing and evolving, which is something to be proud of.

Keep your heart and mind open as you move forward. Be open to new experiences and opportunities, and don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. You never know what wonderful surprises life has in store for you.

Finally, remember that you deserve love, happiness, and tranquilly. You deserve to have a happy and fulfilling life, and it is up to you to make it happen. Believe in yourself and your adventure, and believe that everything will be fine in the end.
