Herbs to Ease Your Hangover Part 3

Keep these natural, herbal solutions close at hand to help dispel that morning-after feeling as quickly as possible.

  • Peppermint – Peppermint eases headaches, indigestion and nausea. Drink a cup of peppermint tea or chew on a fresh leaf to calm your stomach and improve your stale morning-after breath. Avoid if pregnant. The refreshing properties of peppermint calms the stomach and also freshens bad breath.
  • Rosemary – Stimulating rosemary is great for relieving feelings of tiredness. For a hangover related stomach upset, use rosemary in the bath or as an inhalation agent, or simply use it to garnish your food. Rosemary leaves benefit stomach upsets and tiredness.

Essential Hangover Oils – Soothing essential oils can work wonders to ease away a hangover. Use them in mediums such as bath oil, vaporiser blend or massage oil applied to the temples.

Reviving Blends – The following combination is ideal for putting on a handkerchief or tissue and inhaling regularly throughout the day :

  • 2 drops fennel
  • 3 drops juniper
  • 2 drops rosemary

Or try a bath blend

  • 2 drops rose
  • 2 drops juniper
  • 2 drops grapefruit

Inhaling steam infused with essential oils can be used to take away hangover misery.
