The power of garnet can be used to work in protective charms, in talismans for good fortune, and in rituals for healing and to give energy.
To Receive PMS
If you suffer badly with PMS, especially if you find this time of the month very draining, try suing a garnet to re-energise your body, heart and mind.
- Hold a garnet to your heart and say, “May my body remain in good balance and harmony with my mind and emotions.”
- Then intone the mantra “Sa” for a few minutes and feel your body relaxing as the energies balance.
- To reinforce the stone’s healing effects, make a cup of mugwort tea with 1 tablespoon of the herb in a cup of boiled water.
- Allow the mugwort tea to cool, strain it and put the garnet in the tea for a few minutes. Then remove the stone, drink the tea, and just relax.
Relieve bad symptoms of PMS by combining the powers of garnet and mugwort tea. Leave the infusion to cool before placing the stone in the cup for a few minutes. Then remove and sip slowly.
