Treating The Digestive System Part 3

Your digestive system is very sensitive to the rest of your body systems and can bee upset not just by what you put into your body but by how you feel and react to things.

Nausea and Vomiting

Vomiting is when the contents of the stomach are forcibly expelled up the oesophagus and out of the mouth. It’s often preceded by a feeling of nausea. Nausea can be present without vomiting or this unpleasant feeling can induce it. There are a wide variety of causes of nausea and vomiting including the early stages of pregnancy, certain foods, excess alcohol, gastrointestinal diseases and illnesses such as diabetes. Aromatherapists recommend massage and/or compresses as good methods to use for soothing the stomach, with the most helpful essential oils being sweet fennel, ginger and peppermint.

These oils can also help dispel feelings of nausea when you inhale them, for example, as a dry inhalation on a tissue. Pregnancy women are often advised to sniff a couple of drops of ginger or peppermint oils to help with morning sickness. Burning rosemary and peppermint oils is also effective.

Peppermint and ginger can remedy morning sickness.

Gosh you triggered a walk down memory lane ☺️💕I enjoyed being pregnant🤰❤️ The experience of nurturing my baby and myself for my baby while my baby grows 🥰 feeling my baby move around, listening to my baby’s heartbeat. Treasuring every single positive development and milestone. I did not enjoy the nausea 🤢and morning sickness. But I loved my baby. So it was worth it. I used remedies like these in your post. They were helpful. I support this article as evidence these things work.. but now I want to have another baby 🐥🤣
