Treating the Lymphatic System Part 4

Below you have been given some common diseases of the lymphatic system, their causes and identifying symptoms and which essential oil to use as a remedy.

Localised Infection

There are many conditions that can impair the efficiency of your lymphatic system, such as a bad bout of glandular fever. When your lymphatic system has been compromised this can lead to recurrent infections such as sore throat, tonsillitis, colds and flu. You cab used oils in compresses, baths, vaporisation and inhalations to help strengthen and support its role in our body’s immunity.

Essential oils that help fight infection include tea three and thyme. Certain species of thyme irritation the skin and mucous membranes. The safest variety to use if common thyme (Thymus vulgaris), but you should still patch test the oil before applying and avoid using on young children or people with sensitive skins. Others useful oils for infections are bergamot, lemon, lavender and sandalwood.

Do a 24 hour patch test of thyme oil before use.

      Yes it is absolutely amazing. Lemon essential oil is taken from the lemon peel itself and is known to be antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant rich, antiviral, antidepressant, and an astringent. The words clean and lemon always seem to be in the same sentence because lemon has powerful properties.
