Avoid Suffering

No one likes to suffer.

So why are so many people displaying signs of suffering? Stress, anger and regret are common emotions that you feel on a daily basis. As much as we try to avoid them, we always end up bringing the negative feelings in.

Here are few easy ways to suffer less :

  • Give people space to heal rather than trying to do it for them.
  • When someone leaves your life, trust their absence clears space for better quality people.
  • Let people be responsible for their own feelings and decisions.
  • Try not to take things personally. Sometimes people are just projecting their shit onto you.
  • Stop beating yourself up for having feelings. It’s all part of being human. Nothing is wrong with you.

I could go on forever, because suffering takes many forms. But you can see the pattern: self-compassion eases the pain of the suffering, reducing the bad effects and allowing us to choose more helpful ways of living.

I am about to post a poem and I am letting you know that it in absolutely no way is related to you. I can relate to everything you write, but just to be on the safe side I’m going to spend an hour and delight myself reading your site, so I’m positive you know it’s true that the one I got coming is not for you. I appreciate, GREATLY, your likes. Thank you.
