Spell For A Blue Candle

Connected to the gods of the sky and the element of water, blue is a protective, cleansing and healing colour to use when casting spells.

Blue is the predominant colour in our world. As the vast blue expanses of sky and sea expand our vision, creating the illusion of space, so does the colour itself. Blue is connected with the element of water and associated with the chief Roman deity, Jupiter, a sky god who rules thunder and lightening.

A Helpful Colour

Blue is the colour that the Throat Chakra responds to, and it can be used in spells for blessing, clarity, psychic development, cleansing, healing, protection and success. Along with white, blue is one of the most useful colours for candles because of its multiple applications in spell casting.

Candles are most effective in helping you to focus your mind while working magic, and candle spells can help you to enhance your life and also help the lives of people you care about. Blue corresponds in spells can range from using blue candles and crystals to ribbons and flower petals.

Dealing With The Blues

It’s one of those quirks of language that, although blue is such a positive colour, being at a low ebb in terms of your emotional energy and mood should be called the “blues”.

Improving Your Mood

When do you feel down, don’t be afford to use blue candles to improve how you are feeling. Burning uplifting essential oils in your room vaporiser can also help, as can candlelit scented baths. An incantation directed at the source of your troubles might also be a help, as can a smile spell using the knowledge you have gathered so far.

Constructive Action

Remember the negative events and moods can usually be turned around so the overall result is positive. If you feel blue, make a list of the reasons why and then start to deal with them one at a time and improve your situation in manageable stages.

If you’re feeling at a low ebb, shake free of the “blues” by writing your thoughts and feelings down.

Blue is an important healing color as it is linked with calm and serenity. It helps lower blood pressure and can reduce rapid heart rate. Blue is relaxing for the mind and body. It is associated with organs like eyes, ears and nose and involved with the senses of smell, sight and sound.
