Welcome to the Daily Dose of Self Love. This series will be about self love, self care, self esteem and self worth. Basically everything related with SELF. My aim with this series is to give you a daily boost of self love and self care. We all get busy with our lives and sometimes it leaves us less or no time to take time for ourselves, be with ourselves, wash off all the negativity that we accumulated during the day with self love, meditation, etc. The daily boost will be in an easy to understand and more importantly something which is relatable. So Welcome!!

Self Love Practice Tip #58

Today we will continue to talk about intuitive eating. My personal journey with intuitive eating. I am a person who often labels food good or bad, and as a result intuitive eating was a little fearful at the beginning. Still learning. When I started, considering my control freak nature, I took a nerdy turn into intuitive eating like counting calories but I soon found that exhausting, discouraging and often stressful. I couldn’t find time logging in my food or reading every label of food that I am eating. So I gave up counting calories but went for more quality food and dropped the processed food. What I am trying to say is that it is okay to feel overwhelmed at the beginning because it is too much information for starters, intuitive eating that is okay. You are not alone. The change that you have to bring is not feel guilty to you are satiating your hunger with food. I don’t like the feeling of feeling guilty when I eat something. So that is my main aim to let go off with intuitive eating. Like I said I am always a work in progress. Everyone has their own journey and your approach it how you want. Like I take it as listening to my body when its hungry and I am going to eat and honour my cravings for what my body wants and respecting my stomach when it is full.
